Approved by the Coeliac Society 
 
  Australian chia is laboratory-tested and proven to have ‘no detectable’ gluten levels, and confimed to be consistently gluten-free. It is safe to be eaten by sufferers of coeliac (pronounced seek-ee-ak) disease, which cause an impairment of the body's immune system. It is a permanent intestinal intolerance to dietary gluten which could lead to small bowel (intestine) damage. Chia is listed in the Coeliac Society's gluten-free list of food manufacturers.
 
 
Approved by the National Heart Foundation 
  Australian chia has earned the Heart Foundation Tick and meets the strict nutritional standards as a food supporting a healthy heart. As with all the Certification above, the Heart Foundation red tick is extremely difficult to earn!
